Picture
Star Wars fans have long pondered upon the idea of Boba Fett's past, and how he rose to be the badass bounty hunter we all know and love. The mystery of the masked man remains though, as the only glimpse and piece of evidence we even have besides the Prequel Trilogy and Clone Wars series of Boba's past is the infamous interaction between him and Darth Vader.

"No Distintegrations," Darth Vader sternly spoke to Boba Fett while pointing to his face.

Why would Vader specifically tell Boba this?

The only answer is that they must have a history, a history that deserves to be explored, but never has been.

Welcome to my story.
The fire disperses from the mufflers that attach to the corners of the Slave I as it descends. As it rotates in to a horizontal position and lands upon the balcony, rain storms the exit while it lowers upon the balacony. Kaminoans approach the vintage ship, as Boba Fett walks along the ramp to become eye to eye with the Kaminoans.

"Boba, we did not expect you back so soon," calmly proclaimed the Kaminoan Queen.

"This is not my return. I am leaving," sternly claims Boba.

"We need you. Why must you leave, the home where you grew?" curiously asked by the Kaminoan Queen once again.

"I have a mission." Boba says, as he turns to walk in to the Slave I.

Scene 1: The Mission

Boba Fett and Darth Maul built a relationship throughout The Clone Wars. As Maul seeked to reorient the spirit to heal the body, Boba found common ground in his pursuit of vengeance. Building master plans to overthrow the Republic, to betray Palpatine, Maul and Boba grew to be best friends. However, when Order 66 occurred, Boba needed to go in to hiding. The Jedi were going to come after anyone that knew anything about the clone's betrayal. In his new identity as a fugitive, Boba became the vigilante learned to be feared across the Galaxy. Wearing his fathers armor, he assassinated Jedi, captured smugglers, and struck fear in to anybody who wasn't paying him to do a job. With the reputation of the most successful, terrifying bounty hunter among them all, Boba's desperation for legacy needed only one more step to be solidified as legendary. Kill Darth Vader.

But with this task, he needed help. His old friend, Darth Maul.
Enter Dathomir. The homeworld of the lost dark lord of the Sith.

Fett descends from the sky as his boot gracefully plant themselves in to the thick stand. The moons shine, as the dark night hides Boba in the shadows. He approaches a Zabrak warrior.

"I am looking for someone," sternly claims Fett.

The warriors raise their long double-edged spears.

"Who are you?"

Boba calmly raises his hands, and clenches his fists.

"Give me Maul."

The warriors engage. Fett deflects the one coming to his right and immediately breaks his spear in half, while jumping in the air to swiftly kick the other. He takes out his blaster immediately;

"Useless."

He immediately fires at them both. The desolate dim of the planet hung in the air. The pathway led directly to a temple, a temple broken. Boba ignited his jetpack and headed towards the peak.

"Well, that looks important."

Boba landed at the top, it was broken. A shattered memory of what it once was. Broken antiques lay across the floor in hundreds of pieces. But from the corner, another Zabrak appears.

"What are you looking for, bounty hunter? Came to avenge your friends?"

Boba positions himself, and looks the warrior straight in to the eyes.

"Avenge?"

The warrior drops the pieces of antiques he was briefly day dreaming in to, and turns to Boba;

"You didn't hear?

Boba walks towards him, "Talk."

"Your mission is about to get a whole lot more interesting," The Zabrak clears his throat and sighs, "I have been a companion of Maul's for quite some time. Before he was a Sith. I was his protector, since his first kill. Since then, he has killed many more. I assume you seek him, of his recent killings. His consumption..."

Boba raises his blaster, "Spit it or you're dead."

"Mandalore. Maul has taken his spirit there. He has become the ruler, the king, the master, of your people. Your own kind," the ancient warrior concluded.

Boba puts his head down and turns his deck the other direction, "You said you were a friend?"

"Yes. An old..."

Before Maul's lost brother finished his sentence, Fett blasted him.

Scene 2: Destiny Has Knocked on the Door

Fett scrambles in the Slave I as he blasts off in to the blood sky. There is only one mission on his mind. To execute, someone who has betrayed him.
The ship blasts off in to hyperspace, and approaches Mandalore at last. Boba Fett remains violently silent as he exits the ship. It, is ruins.

Mandalorians stocking goods, as Maul sits upon his chair giving orders.

"We need all of this for the Empire. This is for all of you."

Boba perches himself above, but behind Maul and stealthily drops down.

"Maul..." Boba reluctantly asks, but swiftly transforms in to anger, "you betrayed me."

Darth Maul turns around, "My old friend... at last." His cloak covers his tattoos, but his Sith eyes gleam in to the reflection of Fett.

"You know I can't let this happen," Boba says as his wrist rocket engages and locks on to Maul's head.

Maul stands strongly, placing his hands behind his back; "You're right. You can empower it. You have ties to the army. We can end the Empire, and rule it ourselves. Look at all of our soldiers... we can do it."

Boba approaches Maul with demand and rage in his voice, "These are people, Sith scum. These are my people. My origins. And you have turned them in to your maids. After all, since when has the Empire been your target?"

Maul takes off the hood of his cloak. Fett remembers his face from years ago. As menacing as ever, Maul states, "I want the power."

Fett questions, "You have no clue how big the Empire truly is. What do you want this power from, a small batallion of stormtroopers?"

Maul answers quickly and confidently, "No... Vader."

Fett remembers the big picture. The grand scheme of it all. The fantasies, of killing the ultimate Dark Lord.
"I should burn you, right now," Fett claims as he lowers his wrist. His eyes follow it, as he looks to the other direction of all of his enslaved mentors. Fett punches Maul in the face, as his lightsaber is quickly ignited.
Fett launches himself in to the air and blasts Maul from a distance, all deflected. He throws a series of grenades as he sprints across the ledge above Maul. The enraged Zabrak leaps to common ground and pursues Fett as he turns around and again launches himself in the air. The Mandalorian slaves watch, cheering for their grand warrior, their dark savior. Boba shoots his wrist rocket just right of Maul and quickly fires his electric cable to wrap around Maul's body. Maul holds the wrist rocket in the air, as he charges it with Force lightning, and shoots it back at Fett as the cable wraps around his body, electrocuting him. Both soldiers lay on the ground, as Maul breaks free from the cable and rises.

"Why, are you not trying to kill? Don't you want to avenge, young Boba?" Maul asks in a sinister manner as he ignited his lightsaber once again, this time both sides.

"Shut up." Boba says as he lifts his mask to spit blood from his mouth. He turns around and begins engaging in Melee combat with his gauntlets, that absorb lightsaber energy. Over and over again, Maul strikes, and over and over again, Fett counters with blades to the chest. Maul Force pushes Fett away as he jumps backwards to draw back his saber.

"Kill me then, bounty hunter. I know you think you can." Maul peacefully claims in a fading giggle.

"I know I can," Fett draws back his gauntlets, and plants his feet

Maul corrects Fett, "One can believe. I have a... proposal."

Fett attempts to strike fear in Maul, "Be careful of your next words."

"It is obvious you need something. I left myself open for your slaughtering, and you pulled your punches, missed your shots. Rare occurrences, for the assassin you once were." Maul paces and slowly makes steps towards Fett, "I can give you all of this back."

"For what?" Boba wonders, as a proposal is never one sided, especially with Maul.

"Kill Vader," Maul stands still and glares at Boba.

Maul begins circling Boba;

"And I don't just mean killing him in the ordinary way. I mean destroying him," Maul looks at the puzzled Boba.

Fett stands tall, "That has been my mission all along."

Maul comes eye to eye with Fett, "And does your mission, still remain?"

Fett takes a deep breathe, and reluctantly speaks, "All I can think about is killing you in the moment."

"But, you need me?" Maul confidently questions, as if he knows the true answer.

Fett then rests his hand at his side, reminisces on all that he has been pondering, "How do I kill him, a Sith lord?"

Maul looks down at his legs, destroyed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, "You don't. You annihilate him. You cannot break the broken. You shatter them. You cannot kill one with the Force. You kill, where the remains of their heart lies."

Fett does not understand, and seeks conclusion as he asks, "Where is he?"

Maul shakes his head and angrily screams to the sky, "It does not matter where HE is, Fett. But his son..."

Boba Fett remembers the stories of Vader. The slaughtering. The tales of Vader going against armies, and annihilating them with ease, "Vader... has a son?"

Maul laughs, as his Sith eyes bleed the brightest color of his darkest days, "You don't know who Vader is, do you?"

Boba, with rage, talks back to Maul, "I just want him dead. Right now."

Maul laughs again, "My old friend... patience is a virtue of even a soldier like yourself," Maul breathes deep, "Darth Vader, was a man we once knew. He went by the name of Anakin Skywalker, The Chosen One, the greatest warrior in Jedi history. And in the peak of the Clone Wars, he turned to the dark. He succumbed to rage, and became the shadow of darkness I have hidden in for so long, Darth Vader. You are no match for Skywalker, Fett."

Boba is astonished. He remembers all the bounty's placed on Skywalker's head, and how none of them were achieved. Anakin was feared across the galaxy by bounty hunters before he became Vader.

Maul speaks again, before Boba can process even how to respond, "There is no time for confusion. But Empire's crumble from within. I want the Empire. You want Vader. Let's.... help each other."

Boba takes a second to breathe. He remembers his ultimatum, his mission, his destiny, "What are you proposing we do?"

Darth Maul raises his hood back over his head, and comes within a Zabrakian horn of Fett's face, "I am proposing, collaboration. Kill his son, and lead this army against the Rebellion. Against the Empire. Against the Galaxy. We are seeking to be remembered, are we not Boba Fett? Let's rule this galaxy, together, like we had always plotted to do."

Boba only hears of the pathway to Vader, or rather, his son, "Where is his child?"

Darth Maul smiles. Knowing what is about to begin, "Tattooine."

Boba Fett grabs Maul's shoulder, and shakes his hand with aggression. He blasts off in to the sky, heading for the Slave I.

Scene 3: Darth Vader's Arrival

Darth Vader sits atop the perch of his Star Destroyer, he looks in to the incredible fleet of space tormenting skyscrapers that is his army. They float, amongst the enslaved planets as the Imperial officers scramble to provide Vader with satisfaction. It is, power, in it's most furious form.

Vader turns to Grand Moff Tarkin, "Have we found where the Rebels cowardly hide?"

Tarkin answers immediately, with respect, "Maybe not the Rebellion. These... new rebels... are far more aggressive. There is a report from Mandalore of a storm trooper battalion that has been swiftly destroyed. The mystery of their deaths remains  a question in the air. That is all that I can provide for you today, Vader."

Grand Moff Tarkin begins to walk away. After all, what does Vader care for a stormtrooper battalion? He kills them himself if they are in his way. Thinking that Vader will dismiss such information, he walks down the alley and as he is about to open the blast doors, Vader speaks;
"Set our course for Mandalore. There is a new threat, awaiting my arrival."

Tarkin quickly, and surprisingly turns. He questions Vader's intentions, "But sir, the Rebels are still at large. We may need your assistance in finding their base, and executing the finale of this war."

Vader turns from his embraced glare of all that he has built, and become as he speaks to Tarkin again, "I sense something in this new Rebellion. A powerful leader. Someone I have never met, but always known of. Someone, who may lead me to my old master"

Grand Moff Tarkin shakes his head, baffled by the decision to chase after this pirate scum. He swallows and stands with bravado to question Vader once again, "But my Lord..." and before he finishes his sentence, Vader raises his hand.
Tarkin gasps for air, Vader had never done this to him before. Vader calmly and slowly proclaims, "Set the course, for Mandalore. I will be going by myself."

Tarkin yells to the surrounding officers to set the super starship's course for Mandalore. The massive titanic of a cruiser blasts in to hyperspace, as Vader walks in to his meditation chamber.

The memories of Anakin Skywalker infest his brain. He remembers a story Obi-Wan told him early in his Padawan days on the way to build his lightsaber. Obi-Wan talked of his master's death, at the hands of Darth Maul. How ruthless of a Sith he was, how his double-bladed saber moved at the speed of a starfighter, and how he stabbed the man who led him to be who he was without second thought. In deep meditation, Tarkin approaches the chamber;

"Sir, we have arrived."

Vader's helmet forms in unison around his face, as the breathing commences.

"At last," he speaks as he rises, knowing what he must do.

Meanwhile, Maul meditates upon his chair. He senses something, a great excitement in the Force. As he ponders the next move for his building army to make, he sees something in the sky. Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, descending to the ground of his new home.

Steam pours from the exit ramp of Vader's fighter, as Mandalorian soldiers gather by the dozen around this obvious threat. Their blasters are raised as the dark silhouette seeps from the evaporating smoke. The Mandlorians realize who it is, with every breathe, every step, as they shakily ready their blasters for fire.

One of them finds the courage to speak, "You are surrounded, Vader. We are too strong, even for you."

Vader ferociously rips him from the ground and pulls him in to his igniting lightsaber. The Mandalorians gasp in horror, as they have fantasized about this moment for years, but now realize how truly terrifying Vader is.

Vader disengages his lightsaber as he announces to the crowd, "I am looking for your leader."

Darth Maul walks through the crowd as he abandons his entire cloak. It is his horribly scarred, burned, tattooed body walking through the cleared path as he stands at the edge of the formed circle, "Do not fire. This is a battle I must win, for us," he yells to the crowd as his tone shifts to a melody empowered by years of bloodlust rage, the pursuit of revenge, and most of all excitement, "I have been waiting for you."

Maul attempts to catch Vader off guard as he jumps back to throw his half ignited lightsaber while simultaneously ripping a piece of debris from the ground to catapult at Vader. Vader holds the saber in mid air as the debris slaps his shoulder blade, throwing him backwards a few steps as the saber drops. Maul pulls it back towards him and now in signature form, ignites both sides. Vader rises, with an audience around him, to ignite his blood-red lightsaber. Vader stays in place, as Maul charges him. Viciously swinging at him, manipulating his double bladed saber, clashes with Vader back and forth over and over again, as Vader effortlessly defends Maul's extreme efforts.

"You are, weaker than I thought," Vader sinisterly whispers to Maul as their sabers clash and eyes lock.

Maul back flips in to the air and lands a distance away from Vader. He looks in to the horizon, as the Imperial cruisers land with storm troopers and heavy vehicles pouring out of them.
Maul is astonished, by the vast, ultimate, power the Empire truly has. He sees it first hand, for the first time, as he whispers to himself, "My... army." The Mandalorians run in to combat. A battle, has begun.

Distracted by the turmoil all that he has built and lived for is now in, Vader pulls a piece of rock from behind Maul as it ricochets off of his back. Vader stomps towards Maul, as he speaks, "Envy is an all too familiar characteristic among the defeated."

Maul slowly comes to his feet, as his bionic legs situate themselves to put Maul at a standing position. He reignites his lightsaber and jumps from the side of the ruins to attack Vader. They once again clash sabers as they move through the top of the broken coliseum. The floors and balconys come from underneath them, as the long battle continues until Maul appears cornered.

Maul realizes what his destiny has come to, and the worth of the life he is living. He disengages his saber as he rests it on his belt. He sees himself in the reflection of Vader's mask, and attempts to communicate with Vader, "Most pursue happiness. Others pursue power. I pursue, killing you."

Vader's heavy breathing begins to slow, "A task, you have seemed to fail."

Maul laughs at Vader's question, "Do you really think, I would risk the worth of my life in a duel with you? A battle with the Empire? No, killing you is a process," Maul begins to walk towards Vader as a small squad of stormtroopers swarm behind him and with a smile, finishes his sentence, "...Skywalker."

Darth Vader is astonished. The former dark lord of the Sith knows exactly who he is. How can this be?

"Speak wisely," Vader confidently states, with questions infesting his head.

"You are a plan. A puppet of a prophecy. The Emperor talked of you and your power since he created your life. You are a destiny of chaos, and nothing more. Killing you, is my masterpiece," Maul responds.

Vader continues to question, "How do you plan such a thing, if you are dead yourself?"

Maul quickly and wittily answers, "I can say the same of you. Why have you come to my planet?"

"Where is the Jedi master, Obi-Wan Kenobi?" Darth Vader maturely interrogates.

Darth Maul attempts to pull Vader's legs out from beneath him as he yanks a stormtrooper from the collapsing temple as he drops a smoke grenade. The smoke billows and as Maul becomes a silhouette, he speaks what he thinks will be his final words, "Tattooine. Right where you will find the man, hunting your son."

Vader overpowers Maul to rip the stormtrooper from his grasps, as he strangles him to death himself. Simultaneously, he rips Maul from where he runs with the other hand and viciously grabs his windpipe as he tortuously and seductively pulls him to his blade, "Your death, is what I am most proud of."

Maul realizes, he is not the dead one. Vader is. Doomed by the prophecy he had tried to hard to manipulate. He, with a smile, as one last wish, "Kill Obi-Wan Kenobi."

Vader drops the lifeless Maul in the peak of the destroyed Temple. He jumps from it and slowly lowers to the ground as it collapses and explodes behind him. The dark, heavy air, the red sky, and the chaos along the horizon and within his vision is the very chaos that he has become.

Destination: Tattooine

Scene 4: The Battle

Darth Vader, in a false bravado, sets his coordinates for Tattooine. A place, he swore to never travel to again. The place where he was enslaved, the place where his mother died, where his rival and former master lived, and where the final purpose of his life lied, his son. He had always planned for destiny to bring him and the child he knew of all along together. To overthrow the Emperor, and control the galaxy as father and son. He knows what he must do, what he must overcome to slaughter the evil Kenobi and destroy the new threat against his son.

Vader reports to the first Imperial base. Disintegrated
Vader reports to the second Imperial base. Disintegrated.
Vader reports to the third Imperial base. Disintegrated.

Was it too late? The enraged Vader slowly traveled among the clouds in stealth mode as he lands among the mountains of Tattooine. As he exits to check on the last Imperial base for any information regarding the hunter. He takes a moment, and picks up a handful of sand as it seeps through his robotic fingers back in to the ground. He remembers all the pain that grew, all of the serenity he has lost. He walks to the final Imperial base on Tattooine. Disintegrated.

Meanwhile, Boba Fett looms in the distance of the clouds. The Slave I beams overhead as Boba searches for answers to where this Skywalker may be. He has heard nothing from the Stormtroopers, and only tales of the Skywalker legend Darth Vader himself left. The Slave I rotates to place itself in the middle of the desert, as Fett stares at Mos Eisely, questioning his next move.

The sun begins to fall as the moons of Tattooine rise to enlighten the sandstorm of a planet. Fett remembers what this was all for. The dreams and visions of destroying Vader in cold blood, and being feared across the galaxy as the most frightening bounty hunter, and person, known demand.

What does the kid have to do with this?
Does Vader even have a kid?
Is Maul someone that should be... trusted?

A thought strikes him. If this kid is real, maybe Boba can use him to lure Vader. To fulfill his destiny. To destroy Vader himself, face to face.

Darth Vader stares from the distance of the mountains.

Who is this measly bounty hunter?
Is Obi-Wan still alive?
Is Maul someone that should be... trusted?

Darth Vader jumps from the mountain as he uses the Force as a parachute to float to the ground. He lands as he marches toward Mos Eisley for answers. He marches through the sand of the urban area, with the creatures of his childhood crossing him once again. The pain, the suffering, the agony enrages him as he walks in to the cantina.
The crowd immediately goes silent. On sight, they seek to escape as they sprint frantically in different directions, but Vader closes all the doors.
He immediately lifts the bartender in to the air, "Someone will tell me where Obi-Wan Kenobi is, and I will not have to turn this entire planet in to ruins searching."

The crowd cries and screams as Vader drops the speechless bartender, as he turns to the civilians, "Where is Obi-Wan Kenobi?" The terror in their faces rushes Vader with adrenaline, and deep sadness.
A blast is shot at Vader from the corner of the room;
Dengar.

Vader ignites his lightsaber as the blast ricochets in to a door as it opens. The audience of Vader's epitome of demise sprints out as as the scarred man with the white cloth wrapped around his face and armor runs to Vader. He throws a grenade as Vader captures it in mid air, and throws it behind him in to the escaping crowd and the wall of the cantina. It violently explodes as fire fills the air.
Darth Vader grapples the escaping Dengar and yanks him towards him as he disarms him with ease;
"Do you have a friend?" Vader curiously asks in an apocalyptic manner.
"No, do you?" Dengar smiles with his shattered teeth as he hopes for his life to be spared.

Boba Fett hears an explosion. People screaming from Mos Eisley. There is no way, no possible way, this could be him. Boba jetpacks in to the roofs of the city. He jumps stealthily to a distance and hides behind the billowing smoke that comes from the cantina. He hears the voice, the breathing, everything he has heard of, and then Dengar being violently thrown out of the hole created by the grenades to slam against the parallel building, as Vader walks towards the body.

This is it. This, is where it begins.
Boba jumps to the ground, with proximity bombs in the hand behind his back as he malevolently delivers the sparking words, "Are you looking for someone?"

Darth Vader rotates to face Boba as his cloak wraps around his body. His lightsaber is enabled. The fight has begun.
Boba throws a proximity bomb to the wall behind him and one in front of him as he blasts off in to the air. The bombs explode in Vader's face as Boba flies around the building and shoots his wrist rocket at Vader as he flies hard towards him. Vader swiftly dodges the wrist rocket in recovery from the explosions, as he grabs Boba by the neck with his "bare" hand and throws him to the ground. Boba moves to his back and slides backwards as he blasts Vader continuously, all deflected back at Boba who launches himself in to the air again.
"Most impressive," Vader genuinely admits.
Vader uses the debris to his advantage as he shoots it at Boba with force. Pieces of shrapnel and rubble of rock crash against Boba's armor as he lands behind a building. Vader looms through the alleys, as he whispers to the air, "My power is too much for your existence to be kept secret. Where do you hide, bounty hunter?"
Vader walks in to an invisible, electrically charged laser as it strikes him with a great shock.
Boba appears from the shadows behind him as he viciously shoots while he runs to the next cover. Vader is blasted once before he follows Boba's footsteps.

Now, it is silent. The Dark Lord marches harder. His breathing becomes slightly scratched and damaged. It is even more sinister, angrier, painful.
Boba breathes heavily, exhausted but rushed with adrenaline. Hope, to beat this monster looms through Boba's head. Darth Vader looks around every corner, and suddenly sees a shadow twitch. He searches his mind, and senses where Boba is. He turns and stands tall above the kneeling Boba aiming his blaster towards the other direction,
"The fearless, are always my greatest accomplishments," Vader looks down upon Boba as he turns around in extreme surprise. Boba ignites his flamethrower and Vader screams in pain before he can strike Boba.
Boba stands and as the fire clears to encounter Vader, "I just want to kill you."
In this moment, Darth Vader realizes. The disintegrator  This is his pathway to his son, to Obi-Wan.
Boba puts his blaster at his hip as his gauntlets are energized with the lightsaber-prone fade of a force field. He slashes towards Vader's control panel as Vader maneuvers his way through Boba's quick attacks as he defends each one. Boba charges, as Vader stands in place.
Vader purposely tangles the crossed arms of Boba as he pushes his gauntlets to the center of Vader's saber. The robotic menace stands tall above him as he pushes him down in to the sand and sternly states, "Many have pursued my death before. And I still stand. Tell me, bounty hunter, what makes you more unique than the last assassin?"
Boba quickly jetpacks backwards as the force behind Vader's saber plummets in to the ground. Fett moves to the roof and looks down upon Vader, "The name is Boba Fett."
Darth Vader immediately pulls the roof from beneath him as Boba flies towards the skies once again and shoots beaming heat lasers at Vader as his lightsaber absorbs the energy on impact. Vader raises one hand behind his saber and begins manipulating the force as the laser beams back at Boba and hits the top of his jetpack. He plummets to the ground as he removes the imploding jet pack from his back while it soars in to the air. He impacts the ground as he acrobatically somersaults to face Vader. He throws a thermal detonator as Vader throws it back while it explodes in front of Fett's face. His helmet becomes extremely damaged, revealing the bottom of his face.
"You are no match, for the power of the Dark side," Vader iconically states as he walks towards Boba once again.
Boba removes his mask as the buildings to both sides of Vader explode from the manual detonating grenades Fett placed when he was battling in stealth.
Vader storms through the storm of fire as his legs become wrapped in wire Boba shoots at him. Vader remains still and disengages his saber as Boba points his blaster towards his head and reluctantly walks towards the Sith Lord.
"It can't be that easy," Boba shakes with a mask of confidence.
"Where. Is. My. Son." Vader slowly speaks to Boba as his head lowers.
Vader breaks free from the cable and throws his lightsaber as Boba dodges it to throw a punch at Vader. It lands, as Vader doesn't flinch, or feel it. The lightsaber wraps around the corner and gravitates back in to the mechanical hand as Vader backhands Fett to the ground.
Vader strikes to Boba's left, and then to Boba's right as Boba sweeps his legs through Vader's to knock him to the ground. Fett jumps over the shoulders of Vader as he turns around and blasts Vader in the shoulder blade. It pierces Vader's armor as his breathing becomes extremely weakened.
Fett ignites his flame thrower at the opposite facing Vader, but the fire looms around the shell of Vader as it flows in to the ground beneath him and dissipates in to the land.
Darth Vader arises as the building Fett leans against begins to crack and quake upon him. Vader grabs the bounty hunter by the neck and forces him in to the crumbling building.
"Give me the coordinates to Obi-Wan Kenobi and your life will be spared for the use of the Empire," Vader angrily, and with conclusion in his voice, states.
The rocks of the building begin to collapse upon Boba as a large piece slides down across the roof and in to the shaking shoulders of Fett. He holds the giant rock as he lifts it in to the air. Vader releases Boba in pure surprise of the bounty hunter's warrior soul and his bravery. Boba replies to Vader, "I only work for myself."
Fett screams as he throws the rock and jumps away as the building becomes one with the ground. Boba raises his weakened body, and by the power of will raises his hands to a fighting position.
"Do you feel fear, bounty hunter?" Darth Vader questions the immense bravery of this new warrior.
Boba does not speak for a moment, designing his next tactic to defeat this prize of the Dark Lord of the Sith, and then he shakingly utters the words, "I do not fear death, I fear not being remembered."
Darth Vader's cloak waves in the fiery atmosphere, as he terrifyingly stands despite his damaged armor and mask.
"Then this is the day, where your greatest fear will be realized," Vader raises his lightsaber, with intentions of striking down Boba at this very moment.
Fett, in collaboration with Vader raising his saber, raises his wrist and sets his flamethrower for disintegration.
The flame blasts in Vader's face as his screams echo through the sounds of his armor incinerating. Boba stands over the bowed Vader as he pushes his fame thrower harder and harder in to his helmet.
Before what he thinks will be the final seconds of Vader's breathing, Boba whispers to the flame, "You're my slave, Vader... forever."
Darth Vader hears the word, slave.

He harnesses the menacing pain, the ferocious anger, the damaging memories through his legs. The thoughts of the Tusken Raiders cries, the immense rage that empowers his bionic veins, the scarring nightmares of his reality rushes in to his arms. The maximum potential and power of The Chosen One, as well as the most severe extremity of chaos of Darth Vader's soul explodes from each inch of Vader's body. The insane Force that erupts from Vader's massive attack whips Boba hard to the ground and across the sandy alleyway, far from Vader as he slams against a Jawa droid equipment station while his helmet falls off of his bloody face.
The remnants of Vader's armor hangs on to his bionic limbs and metal veins as his knees buckle. He biblically comes to his feet as he puts his lightsaber in his belt. The ripped black cape flows in the abundance of smoke as Boba comes to his senses. Vader walks towards him, unarmed.
"You are a great warrior, but no match for the Dark Side," Vader proudly admits as he finds enough energy to speak again, "missions may await you, if you choose to be an ally."
Boba looks up at the equally damaged Vader as he spits blood from his mouth, "I'm not cheap."
Darth Vader offers his hand in respect, "The Empire will compromise with anything you desire, Boba Fett."

Boba shakes Vader's hand, as they weakenly hang on to each other's finger tips until Boba comes to his feet.
"Where's the next mission?" Boba coughingly asks.
Vader looks the bounty hunter in his bare eyes for the first time, "Find Obi-Wan Kenobi, and my son.  The Lars family on Tattooine shall lead you to the both of them.  Remember this is a mission of capture and return, warrior, not annihilation."

Fett begins to walk away, "No promises..."

Boba shakes his head. The trials have been completed. Fett has seeked legacy, and is now rewarded destiny. He has become, an avenger of ultimate power, a warrior of command, the assassinator of chaos. The very soldier he has always sought to become.

Vader walks away in the distance, the last time he will ever come to this dreaded planet. He fantasizes about destroying Obi-Wan, and the pinnacle point of his existence, taking down the Emperor with his son by his side as he walks in to his TIE Fighter.

The bounty hunter Vader pummeled before wakes slowly as Boba hears him and makes eye contact.
"You need some help?" Dengar reluctantly asks.
Boba laughs sarcastically as he was a little late for that and reaches out for Dengar's hand, "I don't believe in help."

The story of Boba Fett and Darth Vader's history, an original Star Wars tale never told before.
